Under The Sea

If its one designer I will always love its Chanel. It sounds like a cliche for a fashion student but before I knew what fashion was, I was introduced to Chanel's No. 5 perfume and since then I've followed the brand religiously. This of course, includes the fashion shows posted on their site. Above is the recent Chanel Spring/Summer '12 shown October 4th. As always Karl Lagerfeld delivers a show with more then just style, but with passion. This years show, show cased a number of designs.  From silver Chelsea boots to loose, printed gowns however,  this spring/summer collection still had a hint of winter touch. The 'under the sea' theme involved Florence (from Florence and The Machine) rise out of shell and singing as the models paraded the catwalk. One by one the collection involved various styles and shapes combined with that Chanel touch.  My personal favorites are the Chelsea boots and the graphic drop dresses.
